- Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 cups (1 pint) whipped cream
- Milk
- Vanilla

- Mix first three ingredients.
- Add boiling water and stir.
- Heat directly on stove, stirring, until mixture comes to a boil.
- Then cook 30 minutes on a double boiler, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat. Cool completely.
- Fold whipped cream into cooled chocolate mixture.
- Heat milk. Add vanilla (to taste).
- Stir in generous portion of chocolate mixture and serve warm.
Chocolate mixture can be kept refrigerated up to 2 weeks.
