Clerics of Izmira

Izmira is the goddess of ice and cold. She is also the goddess of tyranny and destruction.

Profane Symbol: May be fashioned of glass, crystal, bone, ivory, semi-precious stone or even ice.

Class Features

Granted Powers:

Divine Disdain (Su): Izmirans do not recognize the authority of other deities. They receive a +2 Profane bonus to save vs any divine spell or ability by any non-Izmiran.

Turn Outsiders (Su): Izmirans may turn non-Lawful Evil outsiders as per the PH rules for turning undead.

Rebuke Outsiders (Su): Izmirans may control Lawful Evil outsiders as per the PH rules for rebuking undead.

Winter Walk (Su): Izmirans do not find ice slippery. They can move at a normal rate across the slipperiest frozen rivers or glaciers with no chance of falling. They are also not slowed by snow, and can walk through it or across it without being impaired. This also acts as the spell, Pass Without Trace, in these wintry conditions.

Cold Resistance (Su): Beginning at 3rd level, Izmirans gain cold resistance 10. Every 3 levels thereafter, this increases by +10. So a 12th level Izmiran would have Cold Resistance 40.

Skate (Su): Beginning at 7th level, Izmirans can 'skate' on ice which increases movement on icy surfaces by 50%.

Slippery Mind (Ex): At 10th level, an Izmiran gains the ability to shrug off magical effects that would otherwise control or compel her. If an Izmiran with slippery mind is affected by an enchantment and fails her saving throw, one round later she can attempt her saving throw again. She only gets this one extra chance to succeed at her saving throw.

Prayer List :

All Izmirans know Bane and Ice Dagger in addition to the other spells on their Prayer List.

When they gain 2nd level spells, they know Frost Weapon and Ice Blast in addition to the other spells on their Prayer List.

Weapons: May use all simple weapons
Armor: May use any armor & shields
Bonus Skills:

All Izmirans receive (2 + Int modifier) x 4 Skill Points at 1st level and 2 + Int modifier Skill Points at each successive level.

Bonus: Intuit Direction, Speak Language (infernal)
