What Was New
In the year 2000
- It's great to have something to update here during our group's annual hiatus from the game.
(Don't Panic - we'll be back soon!)
What's even better is that it's an unsolicited award! Thank you very much, Web Warlock, for your wicked award. Good luck
on your Net Book of Witches!
Here's the kind words that Warlock says about Hurva on his award's page.
"The Kingdom of Hurva is easily the best and most detailed fantasy world I have ever seen! And it is
free for you to use! I spent all day reading the myths, they are great. I also really like the
look of the website. Go to this website, you won't be disappointed!"

- As the emotional strain of their situation continues to wear down Nikita and her companions, the
plunge ever deeper into the strange realm underneath Firestorm Peak. In her latest journal entry, you'll learn how
Nikita's story almost came to a premature end.
- Also recently added to Nikita's
Journals are the tales of how she became a priestess of Torodin and a
short story of the happenings of her 9th birthday.

- I'm really amazed, swelling with pride and pleased to report that The Kingdom of Hurva was
announced to have won the RPGA's official magazine, Polyhedron, Internet 101 'Favorite Gaming Web Site'
contest.
I'd like to especially thank all the members of my gaming group past & present, who have
contributed so very much of the material you find here and Ed Gibson, for his very gracious article.
- Nasty wall and icky, lumpy things. Ester explains all in her latest letter.
Look for new
chapters of Nikita´s Journal
very soon.
- More campaign journals! Now you can read about the on-going campaign from sassy Jvennika´s point
of view.
- "Did Temmer really kill himself at the end of his journal?" is one of the most FAQs I get.
Now you can read for yourself, The Fate of Temmer Longfellow.
- Another new sub-section has been added to The Kingdom part of our site. Bard Tales is
a place where we can share stories of the history of our land - some true, some fictional but most
somewhere in between. The first story we bring to you revolves around the treacherous murder of
a young paladin, who just happened to be the Arch-Bishop's son.
- Read the
tale of just how Ester acquired the massive weapon, Last Laugh.

- Four new businesses to visit in the corrupt city of Istur, Bella´s Book
Shop, Fallen Stars, Tony´s Tobacco Emporium & The Well-Turned Heel.
- Latest session character journals. Read both Nikita's and Ester's
account of how the party managed to trip a trap *twice* that they knew was there. Also
they get to meet the mushroom men. This keeps getting stranger & stranger....

All of our previous URLs still work and will eventually redirect to the new one, but we ask that you please change any links
that you keep to our site to reflect the new URL.

- Latest session character journals. Read both Nikita's and Ester's
account of how the party took on the "extra-special" Duergar and proceeded
deeper into Firestorm peak despite the warnings of more insidious horrors.
(Webmaster's note - there's actually two of each journal entry added since I
neglected to get the previous session's journals up until now.)
- More NPCs! Fourteen cleric personalities from Istur's temples dedicated
to the War and Ocean
gods.
- Some poems
inspired by our campaign written with the limited lexicon of magnetic poetry
kits.
- Now this proves I've got some serious role-players here! How do you teach
the big, not terribly bright fighter to read? Why, create a primer for her, of course!
- Established diplomatic relations with the
World of Sulerin.
